Marie O’Malley
Marie retired in February 2021 after 27 years of service at Medtronic. She served as the Senior Director of Supplier Outreach for Medtronic, responsible for developing and executing long-term Medtronic supplier outreach programs, including efforts around Responsible Supply Management and Supplier Diversity. During the time Marie led the Supplier Diversity program, Medtronic has been recognized twice as a Top Corporation supporting Women Owned Businesses and she has served in leadership roles and numerous engagements supporting various Supplier Diversity and industry advocacy organizations.
Marie has progressed in her career at Medtronic through several positions with increasing responsibility in a number of functions including Finance, Sales & Contract Administration, Customer Service, Global Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, and Supply Management roles. Her passion and most rewarding roles have been in her capacity to champion, mentor, and advance members of her team.
Marie currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer for PiSA USA representing Centerpiece and PiSA who offer world class contract manufacturing and EtO sterilization processing. Marie partners with her experienced and professional colleagues supporting Top tier OEMs along with startup companies for their development, manufacturing and sterilization needs.
Marie has an MBA from Bentley University and an undergraduate Finance degree from Binghamton University. Marie also earned an Executive MBA certification from Wharton University. She’s also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management).
Marie has served on the Board of Directors of MassMEDIC for over 12 years and served as Chair of the Board in 2019- 2021. Marie was recognized in the 2018 and 2019 top 100 list of women executive leaders in the medtech industry.
