Jason Winder

Jason Winder is the CEO of Sonogen Medical, a Baltimore based startup and certified Maryland biotechnology company through the state’s BIITC program. Sonogen is working to commercialize an ultrasonic bone growth stimulation device that’s been proven to dramatically speeds bone fracture healing time while providing real-time feedback on both patient compliance and the fracture healing process. Prior to Sonogen, Jason was the founder and CTO of Aerstone, a boutique cybersecurity consultancy that’s just one of five firms in the world certified by the NSA for vulnerability assessment work. Jason is a seasoned entrepreneur and risk management specialist, having provided extensive technical support over the course of several decades to the US military, intelligence community, and private industry. He is bilingual English/French, holds both an MBA and a Master of International Business from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Drew University. In his spare time Jason enjoys blues guitar, writing, cooking, and golf — at varying levels of proficiency.
